Partner Relationships

The ACC is proud to collaborate with leading organizations across the globe to advance real-world research that aims to improve the lives of cardiovascular disease patients. These partnerships play a vital role in addressing the complex challenges of cardiovascular health. With these partnerships, the ACC is at the forefront of groundbreaking initiatives that drive the development of better treatment options, promote evidence-based practices and ultimately enhance patient care.

NCDR Registry Society Partners

The NCDR registries are supported by partners, who play a crucial role in enhancing the data quality, expanding registry capabilities and supporting the growth of the NCDR's impact on cardiovascular care. By contributing resources, expertise and strategic input, they help refine the registries' data collection methods, improve analytics and ensure that the registries remain relevant in advancing clinical research, quality improvement and patient outcomes.

Partner Registries

The ACC collaborates with partners who have stake in the development and management of the NCDR registries, often influencing the direction of data collection, governance and strategic priorities. Through shared ownership, these partners are able to drive innovation, improve cardiovascular care protocols and ensure the registries align with the evolving needs of healthcare professionals and institutions.

The ACC and Veradigm partnered to advance the next generation of real-world research on behalf of cardiovascular disease and diabetes patients around the world. As part of this partnership, Veradigm operates the Veradigm Cardiology Registry (formerly the PINNACLE Registry) and Veradigm Metabolic Registry (formerly the Diabetes Collaborative Registry).

Carta Healthcare

At Carta Healthcare, we believe high-quality data is the single most important ingredient for improving healthcare. Today, methods to abstract data for clinical registries are largely manual, labor-intensive, time-consuming, and costly. By combining artificial intelligence technology with expert human abstractors, Carta Healthcare helps you abstract data faster, more efficiently, at a lower cost, while delivering the highest quality data.

To solve the clinical data abstraction challenge, Carta Healthcare has partnered with the American College of Cardiology to assist hospitals and health systems to improve the efficiency of NCDR® data abstraction. Carta Healthcare applies the power of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, combined with skilled human expert clinical data abstractors, to abstract data and insights as catalysts for healthcare transformation.

The Carta Healthcare approach has proven to reduce abstraction costs by 50% or more, reduce per-case abstraction time by 50%, all while achieving an Inter-Rater Reliability score of 98-99%.
