Training and Education

The NCDR is dedicated to supporting health care professionals working with NCDR registries through regular training and education.

The NCDR’s training and education program is intended to:

• Help improve the quality and accuracy of data collection
• Enhance measurement and outcomes, and ultimately optimize patient care
• Foster the exchange of best practices and networking among participants

Educational opportunities help professionals working with registries to build their knowledge and skills to effectively:

• Document, measure, collect and submit data
• Assess and use outcomes reports
• Implement quality improvement programs related to cardiovascular care

• Informative announcements regularly posted on each registry home page within the participant portion of the website
