Training and Education
The NCDR is dedicated to supporting health care professionals working with NCDR registries through regular training and education.
The NCDR’s training and education program is intended to:
- Help improve the quality and accuracy of data collection
- Enhance measurement and outcomes, and ultimately optimize patient care
- Foster the exchange of best practices and networking among participants
Educational opportunities help professionals working with registries to build their knowledge and skills to effectively:
- Document, measure, collect and submit data
- Assess and use outcomes reports
- Implement quality improvement programs related to cardiovascular care

- Registry-specific online resources, including on-demand webinars and an online registry participant resource sharing platform
- Informative announcements regularly posted on each registry home page within the participant portion of the website
