Getting Started with D2B

Developed by a multidisciplinary team of experts in cardiology, emergency medicine, nursing, and quality improvement – the toolkit consists of three types of tools:

1. Tools for improving organizational culture: project support and approval, team building, and action planning.
2. Tools for implementing specific evidence-based strategies to reduce D2B times: ED physician activates the cath lab, single call activates the cath lab, cath lab team available within 30 minutes, and prompt data feedback.

3. Tools for data monitoring and feedback.
