Door-to-Balloon 10 Years Later: Lessons Learned, Lives Saved
The ACC’s quality improvement (QI) campaign, Door-to-Balloon (D2B), which launched in November 2006, set the stage for the next generation of ACC’s QI campaigns. Read this article to find out how the program was built, and which stakeholders were critical for the success of the program. “In just a decade, an audacious national goal for D2B time was achieved by almost every hospital,” explains Harlan M. Krumholz, MD, SM, FACC.
