Celebrating QII's 5th Anniversary

Five years ago, the ACC launched Quality Improvement for Institutions. Combining the NCDR Registries with the Quality Campaigns, as well as the Clinical Toolkits and ACC Accreditation Services,  CVQuality.ACC.org serves as the repository for tools to measure and improve quality in facilities.

Watch this video to see how Quality Improvement for Institutions started, what it has accomplished in the past 5 years, and the program’s vision for the future.

QII 5th Anniversary

“A doctor once said to me, ‘Connie, it’s not how smart you are, it’s just the details, details, details.’ So, I use the QII website to help me remember the details, and, also, to remind participants of all of the many details that are involved in improving the quality of care that we provide. So, the website includes so many resources: the bleeding checklist, the PSA model, [and] how to start a QI Initiative. It’s those many, many details that I can’t remember that I rely on the website for.”  Cornelia (Connie) Anderson, BSN, RN, CPHQ, AACC"
